"Tsukishima, stop," You breathed. Your hand gripped his wrist tighter.

"Oh, I'm sorry, [First]. I was too caught up in conversation with the King." He smirked. Tobio clenched his fists, Shoyo tried to calm him down. Kei watched on with a horrible look on his face. The rest of the team crowded around in silent anticipation. Most of them were used to it, save for Yuu and Asahi. Nishinoya didn't really care, but Asahi, with his heart of glass, hated to see the team fight. He hated when Kei and Tobio quarrelled, hated when people had to get involved, but hated most of all when you had to. [First][Last], designated coach's assistant/practice middle blocker, with her glare of ice and resolve made of fire, was the worst person to cross.

Asahi knew this first hand.

"You need to go back to them." Someone said. Asahi resisted the urge to look, but instead kept his eyes trained on the glass window to the inside of the gym. The Karasuno Boys Volleyball team trained eagerly behind the walls. The person shifted and stepped up beside him. "I've seen it in Yuu's eyes. He needs you back there." The person sighed. He wanted to look so badly.

"I don't need to be there anymore." He lamented. The person scoffed.

"Yes you do, Azumane," He finally tore his eyes away from the glass and glanced at the person. A girl, no older than he was, stared into the gym with her arms crossed over her chest. She wore a Karasuno Girls Volleyball draped over her shoulders with [Last] emblazoned on the shoulder over a raven. 'Ace' was printed underneath the crest. A boys team bag was hanging down her back. "They miss you. They need their Ace back." She stated bluntly.

"Why do you have a boy's bag?" He asked, avoiding the subject. She cocked an eyebrow and glared at him coldly.

"I've been a practice Ace to replace your sorry ass," She growled. "Do you really think that I'd be doing this if you were there?" He shook his head and wiped his forehead. A nervous sweat began to drip down his neck.

"What was your name again?" He chuckled anxiously.

"[First][Last]." She looked him up and down and sighed. "I'm sorry, Azumane, but you need to go back." He shook his head, a grim expression pulling his features down.

"I can't. When I jump, when I see that iron wall..." He fidgeted under the mysterious girl's icy gaze. "I just can't do it anymore."

"Bullshit." Her words caught him by surprise. "You're a Raven! Fly higher than the iron wall!" He opened his mouth to speak, but instead shook his head again. She sighed. "You leave me no choice." She looked inside the gym to the team on break, sipping eagerly at their water bottles. He watched curiously as she rapped loudly on the glass. His expression changed from intrigue to fear as all the gazes of the team shifted to the pair of them. He turned and tried to run, but the girl was surprisingly strong, holding him in a headlock while the Ravens made their way to the doors beside the window. Nishinoya visibly lagged behind as they crowded around.

"Asahi-kun?" Sugawara inquired. "Why are you here?" The girl released his head and gripped his shoulder tightly, still not allowing escape. She grinned angelically and said something that made his blood run cold.

"He's rejoining the team."

Thus began his tale of woe. It was almost as if the girl never left his side. She was in his classes, which he hadn't noticed before, both had the same lunch period, and both were (technically) on the Karasuno Boys Volleyball team. She dragged him to practice every day, forced him to talk to the boys, and made him her practice partner for drills. She was surprisingly good, the same level as Asahi, maybe better. He shouldn't have expected anything else from the famed 'Double Ace' of Karasuno.

Her determination to keep him there was relentless. She saw right through his every ploy, every tactic, every ruse. She was a machine when it came to that, even more so when it came to volleyball. He slowly found himself enjoying the practices, and found Nishinoya warming back up to him after he left so unceremoniously. Shoyo and Tobio welcomed him with open arms, eager to learn from the Ace, just as they did when [First] joined the ranks of the team management. He even enjoyed being around the girl, joining her outside of school and club activities to train and keep company. The girl wasn't as mean as her demeanour, under the icy casing. She had a heart of gold and a resolve that burned as brightly as a fire. All of that atop good looks, and there she was, amidst the rubble of Asahi's mistake. She reconstructed him, taught him to melt the iron wall with a passion as fiery as hers. He couldn't help it.

Asahi Azumane, six and a half feet of pure muscle and heart, had fallen for the Double Ace of Karasuno.

[First][Last].

These events are what led up to our story today.

Your hand was still circled around Tsukishima's wrist. He glared at you and tried to shake you off, but you wouldn't budge.

"Apologize, Kei." You deadpanned. He scoffed and struggled under your grip. "Do it."

"No."

"Why not?"

"I don't want to." Asahi looked on with shaded eyes. He was sick and tired of the first year's attitude.

"Do it, Kei," Asa grunted. The team looked to him, surprised. He wasn't usually the one to interfere.

"I'm sorry, King," Tsukishima smirked. That was the best any of you could expect. You sighed and released your grip on him.

"Dismissed," You said with a wave of your hand. "Practice is done anyway. Be here early tomorrow, we're doing measurements for uniforms," The boys thanked you and ran off to pack up their things. You took the nets down with Suga's help before doing the same.

"Study at my place today?" You looked up from your backpack to see Asahi standing next to you with a grin on his face, bag slung over his shoulder.

"Sure, just let me pack up." You both said your goodbyes and began the walk to Asahi's home, chatting about nothings and everythings.

"Say, [First]," He prompted. "Have you ever dated anyone?" His words caught you off guard. You laughed nervously and punched him lightly on the arm.

"No. And if you're so interested, I've never kissed anyone either." You emphasized. Flicking a lock of hair behind your ear, the sunlight started to dim.

"Oh," He laughed. "Well, me neither," He admitted. "I've never..." You suddenly realized how close you two were standing to each other. Your shoulders were touching, heads barely a foot apart, leeching the warmth from each other in the Winter cold. He stopped suddenly and his eyes trained on the floor, deep in thought. You sighed and backtracked to him, standing right in front of his talk form. Well, whatever he was thinking of suddenly made sense to him, because his head snapped up, and then you were kissing. The two Aces of Karasuno. All the things you had felt the last few months suddenly made sense. The strange tingle down your spine when you placed your hands over his to correct his form. The rush of heat to your chest when he embraced you. The blush that crawled up his cheeks when he talked to you.

He was...kissing you.

And you were kissing back.

His lips were soft, and the stubble on his chin scraped your skin, but you didn't care.

Hmm.

You broke apart, at a loss for words while you looked each other in the eyes. You both burst into laughter at the bright red your cheeks were. He pulled you close and rested your head on his chest. Breathe in, breathe out.

"Kissing is strange." He murmured. You giggled softly.

"I liked that."

"Me too."
Ew sorry feelings are strange

I just thought this one up and thought it as adorable. Maybe not. Probably.
